Project brief

Most of the women we worked with already had a product. What they did not have was a line — a collection that hung together, priced itself sensibly, and could be talked about in one sentence to a buyer. Aspire For Her matched us with thirty-six entrepreneurs across fourteen cities for a six-month cohort.

The format was deliberate: monthly group studios for shared language, fortnightly one-on-ones for the messy product work, and a closing showcase where each participant pitched her collection to a small panel of buyers, retailers and press.

"I stopped apologising for the price. That alone changed every conversation." — a participant.

Outcomes were uneven, in the way real entrepreneurship is. Twenty-two participants closed the cohort with a full catalogue. Nine went on to first wholesale orders. Three pivoted. Two decided, with relief and clarity, that the business was a hobby — and that was the right answer.

The cohort model is now run twice yearly, with light support from us and full ownership inside Aspire For Her.
