Project brief
Laghu Udyog Bharti represents one of the largest networks of micro and small enterprises in the country. Our engagement is deliberately broad: a rolling programme of design audits across state chapters, paired with short, sharp training modules tailored to each cluster.
In its first phase we have audited over two hundred units across four states — leather, wood, brass, hand-block. Each audit produces a single-page brief: three things to fix this quarter, three things to consider next year, and one introduction to a buyer or an institution.

The work is ongoing. The next phase will pilot a shared design service for clusters that cannot, on their own, afford a designer — and a small grants window for units that complete the training and pass a quality review.
